JCA is an American born artist from New York who now resides in Houston, TX. His current work commands attention through the use of bold color, realism and commercial graphic like finish. JCA’s painting’s cascade a range of themes within the realm of his reality. The complexity of his reality as a black man in the 21st century. This leaves room for endless narratives, that he presents through deliberate motifs. The motifs that JCA uses to build his compositions are circuitous due to their simplicity. JCA does this to create clues to birth dialogs through a realm of questioning and understanding.
